The art of listening to people and assisting them deal with their problems by weighing options, facilitating the consideration of the factors acting in that situation. Counselling can be performed through the telephone or face to face. Ideal counselling constitutes an encounter which does not involve giving advice.
We offer both regular counselling (as taught by regular counselling schools), that consists pure talk-therapy, and Transformative Counselling.
Transformative Counselling, offered only by Peter Donn, utilises a number of modern techniques, and is designed to offer a gentle method of facilitating resolution to issues and problems currently active in the life of the individual.
Transformative Counselling differs from traditional methods in that we are able to easily find what is behind your problems and we have gentle methods to help you find solutions. We facilitate insight and in so doing cast a completely new light on what is happening to you.
We make use of recent advances in diagnostic and healing techniques such as Psychokinesiology and energy medicine, ensuring our time together will not be simply talk therapy, but will hopefully lead to self-revealing resolution to your problems, and easy letting go of what you may be holding on to.
We suggest a commitment of 10 sessions, typically - but not necessarily - one weekly, and in that time we expect significant progress. We work gently and painlessly at your pace, yet expect you to quickly see a new perspective on your life.
If you are interested in either approach, we recommend an initial session so you can get an idea of how we work. We can then work out a convenient treatment plan.
